|Pastor Brian Adams
Pastor Adams grew up in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. After graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in 1980, he attended Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin. In 1984, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He continued his studies for the pastoral ministry at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. During his studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, he served as a "vicar" at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. This "vicarship" year or intern year helped him get acquainted with the pastoral ministry in a congregation. During his years of study, he was trained in the original languages of the Bible, Bible history, doctrines of the Bible, sermon preparation and counseling. In 1988, he graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.
In 1988, he was then called to serve a mission congregation in Keystone Heights, Florida. After serving there for almost 6 years, he accepted the Divine Call to serve as associate pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Franklin. He was installed at St. Paul's in November of 1994. He continues to currently serve as associate pastor.
In 1986, Pastor Adams married his wife, Nancy. The Lord has blessed their marriage with 3 children: Rachel, Joshua and Katie.
Pastor Adams also enjoys fishing, hunting, working outdoors and traveling. He is also excited about the many new opportunities that St. Paul's has to grow its ministry in the area of Franklin.
|Pastor Peter Sternberg
Pastor Sternberg grew up in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. After graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1997, he attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota where he graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.He continued his studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin, graduating in 2005 with a Masters of Divinity degree. During his years at the seminary, he served as a summer vicar for Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, Nevada.He also served a full year as vicar for Our Savior Lutheran Church in Brookings, South Dakota.
After graduation, Pastor Sternberg was assigned to serve as a tutor for one year at Martin Luther College in New Ulm. During the year he taught classical Greek for the pastor-track freshmen, served as a dormitory supervisor, and assisted with coaching some of the college's sports teams. In 2006, he was reassigned to serve as an associate pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Franklin, where he was installed in July.
In June of 2007 he married his wife, Julie, who works as a managing editor for Referee magazine in Racine, Wisconsin. They both enjoy spending time outdoors, as well as watching and participating in many sports.
Pastor Sternberg looks forward to continuing to serve the St. Paul's family as well as the Franklin community. There are many opportunities for sharing the gospel in this quickly growing area.
